Friendship and The Inner Circle of Christ

Friend Luv All Times PM

I am so thankful for my “Sister-Friends.” I have three who are totally sold out believers. I have two or three new friends in Colorado who will, in time I hope, become these special friends. It takes time to build a solid and balanced friendship. I encourage you to pray for your friends today. Remember, even Jesus had His inner circle.

“No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.”
John 15:15 NKJV

“A man who has friends must himself be friendly,
But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”
Proverbs 18:24 NKJV

The Inner Circle
by Wayne Blank

“The Twelve Apostles were important servants who were chosen by Jesus Christ, each with a purpose during their lifetime (see What Happened To The Apostles?), and in the future (e.g. Matthew 19:28, Revelation 21:14). All were equally responsible (e.g. “Neither be called masters, for you have one master, the Christ. He who is greatest among you shall be your servant” (Matthew 23:10-11 RSV) (see also Did Peter Have The Primacy?). However, for a reason not clear, three of them, James, Peter and John, were a sort of “inner circle” who were chosen to be present at major events while the others were not.”
